Low Voltage Switchboards

CEMA Ltd can provide LV switchboards constructed from Form 1 through to Form 4. Switchboards can be configured either front or rear access or a combination of both. Incoming cable entry can be top, bottom entry or combination of both.

As CEMA Ltd manufacture their own metalwork each assembly can be custom built to specific orders and comply with client general and specific plant specifications, along with any other National and/or International standards required in addition to BS EN 60439-1:1999 compliance.

Ingress Protection is supplied in the standard formats of IP31,IP54 and IP65.

Busbar ratings from:

• None-fault rated cabled
• 26kA for 1 second
• 50kA for 1 second
• 50kA for 3 seconds
• 80kA for 1 second

LV Switchboards are considered to be Partially Type Tested Assemblies(PTTA) as they are designed and manufactures to meet the specific requirements of a given plant design and therefore the layout and arrangement of compartments will be specific to that plant. This means that the assembly is unlikely to be an identical copy of our extensive portfolio of Type Tested Assemblies(TTA) but a derivative thereof.

Each switchboard can include the following main switchboard devices:

• Air Circuit Breakers
• Moulded Case Circuit Breaker
• Switch Fuses
• Load Break Switch Disconnectors
• Distribution Boards

CEMA Ltd can provide manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic load shedding.

CEMA Ltd provide signed Declaration of Conformity Documents confirming compliance with BS EN60439-1:1999, LV Directive and the EMC Directive.
